The Bunny Leech fly pattern, also known as String Leech or Rabbit Strip Leech is a larger fly with many advantages. It is made out rabbit strips and it sinks well once it gets wet. Additionally, it moves a lot of water in a natural moving action when used as a strip-and-pause retrieve. It is designed to imitate leeches, baitfish, crayfish etc.
The fly is a great one for predatory fish and works well for Steelhead and Salmon. It can also work as a saltwater fly on the coast.
